Striving to Reach a Cross Road

Striving to Reach a Cross Road - KWIS, INK

Sometimes in life, getting to a crossroad where you can consciously choose to change your direction will be the very hardest part of what may have seemed to be your very simple journey.

Because, in your travel, before you reach your destination, you will cross deep valleys, encounter and climb high mountains; and along the way, you will definitely pray your way through the dense forests of the lowest valley floors where great rocks and dangers are found that you never expected or imagined.

At times, you will feel isolated and alone. You may very well be both of those.  In fact, in solitude, with imposing opinions, there is a peace that company interrupts.  But when you are in isolation, sometimes as you travel around any new boulder, barrier or mountain, you can more comfortably  take the necessary, needed or available moments to look up, not just to see where you have been but to evaluate where you are going and to check your intentions once you arrive. Know that tense situations, problems and upset can breed anger, jealousy, hurt, grief and bad moments in our life.

So as you go….GROW beyond your emotions, troubles and discomfort.   Be sure that none of trouble you have encountered, none of thorns you have brushed against catch a hold and travel with you because they will only become weights on your spirit that may never let you soar.  As you move closer to your freedom, your goal, and your future, you may still have problems, even when you think you have encountered or conquered them all.  Still, know that you cannot predict always or identify the hardest part of your course because rough roads and high bridges may still exist.  So learn to nourish your commitment to keep going or to keep climbing, because even when it appears that you may not have any climbing rope to spare.

Sometimes, your only option or chance out of your situation is not continued moved but to simply whisper a prayer of need or hope to the Source of Your Strength and courage.  Then, at other times, you will, have to just hold on and have a little chat with God.  And though it may be o so hard,  you must spend more time listening than talking.  It always helps if you know and remember that:  The Voice of God is often not loud, sometimes it’s a nudge or a whisper but you must keep your mind stayed on your purpose and His plan because that will always lead you to quieter days and more peaceful ways to conduct your life.

Being willing to listen and to learn will lead you best.  For, going through life as one who knows it all, is subject and cause of every every single  fall that will set you back..  For it is  not by wrong insistence that anyone can do all but by his insistence that he alone is always correct and his ways alone is always right can lead to self-destruction.

You have to learn and know that self confidence is often the very evidence, that gratitude for what God says and knows will improve your attitude for when you are that we need the attitude of gratitude and the ability to just be thankful even in the most desperate situations You must allow your mind to expand and receive more of God’s Great Grace and Gifts for you.  There may be no secrets to solving a problem but always there is a solution found in the Word of God.  Read it for yourself.  Seek and find.  Be thankful and kind and you will have the keys to unlock doors and to walk with clarity of thought and vision exactly to where God intends you to be.  Hold on.  Be Thankful.  Wait and believe until you receive the guidance that you seek…even as you give Him Praise.  -k.
